Welcome!
Little Mountains hopes to help reconnect people to their own vitality. We invite adults to play, to be silly, to ask questions, to ponder, wonder, and say what’s on their mind.
In a world fuelled by politics, climate disasters, social divides, sickness, tragedy, economic stressors, fear and grief, we look to own internal voices to remind us of who we are and what we are capable of.
Little Mountains is a support club for the children in all of us. Because, most likely, they are who are most capable of handling even the big things.
A Bit About Me.
My name is Matisse, I am a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, writer, entrepreneur, and lover of life. In no particular order.
I was raised on a beach in Fiji, and have spent most of my days playing in some form or another. From guitars, to board games, to make believe. I have also spent a lot of time trying to understand and contribute to solving some of the world’s biggest problems. From working at NGOs committed to tackling the climate crisis, to a diplomatic agency tasked with fixing economic inequities.
What I came to realise is my ability to do the first, equipped me best for the second.
I believe the peace is created piece by piece. And we, my bright spirited pals, are the pieces. Xx
