A little space with playful ideas to ignite your creativity.

Flower Hunt
A beautiful outing for a sunny day that connects everyone with nature and each other.
Materials:
Sturdy cardboard, pencil, markers, scissors or a sharp pencil, and tape (optional).
Steps:
1. Prepare Your Vase.
Cut a rectangle of cardboard. Draw and decorate a vase shape in the centre.
2. Punch Holes.
Carefully poke small holes in or above the vase. The is where your flower stems will go.
3. Label Colours.
Label certain sections of your holes with colours.
4. Set off on your walk.
Take your new paper vase and go for a walk around your neighbourhood. Look for wildflowers or blooms in public areas like parks or sidewalks.
5. Match and Collect.
When you find a flower that matches a colour, gently pick one (only from public places!), and thread the stem into a matching hole on your paper vase. Maybe learn about the flower you are picking?
6. Fill Your Vase.
As you collect, your vase will fill up with real flowers, like a living wild bouquet.
7. Display!
Show off your beautiful colourful flower vase in your home.

Paper Houses
A fab craft activity for the whole family that produces awesome little dollhouses for future playtime!

- A matchbox makes a great bed or dresser.
- A bottle cap and toothpicks can make a table.
- Sponge and fabric can create a little couch.
- Beads on sticks make little lamps.
Optional:
Build More Rooms!
Make other rooms in new boxes, like a kitchen or bathroom. Stack, arrange and glue them like a house or apartment block!

Cardboard Figurines
The cutest crafting activity creating your own little character collection!
Materials:
Thin cardboard (like cereal boxes), pencil, scissors, markers or paint, glue or tape, and scrap paper or fabric (optional).
Steps:
1. Draw Your Character.
Sketch a simple person, animal, or creature on the cardboard — keep it about the size of your hand. Add fun details like hats, tails, or wings.
2. Cut It Out.
Carefully cut out your figure. If you want it to stand, cut out a small rectangle base and make a slit in both the base and the bottom of your figure so they can slide together. You can also cut out wings or hair or a cape that when attached, will hold your figurine up.
3. Decorate.
Use markers, crayons, or paint to colour your character. You can also glue on fabric clothes or paper accessories.
4. Play or Display.
Make a whole set — superheroes, animals, robots, or friends — and use them for storytelling or decorate a shelf!
